Taiwanese HTC is Riding Fast on Google's Android

In 2009 HTC introduced five Android mobile phones which touched the set benchmark and it is also ready to launch the Nexus one which is also known as the Google's iPhone. Let the New Year come and enthusiasts will get this Google's innovative iPhone. The smart phone business is mushrooming worldwide and the Taiwanese company is betting its rivals like Samsung and LG with an enormous force.

The Chief Marketing Officer, John Wang for HTC stated that they covered many miles in the last three years which other companies were not able to cover in ten years. The phone maker is able to do it because it has strapped to Google's new operating system Android and this is the reason why one in six smart phones in the US in 2008 was none other than a HTC phone.

Presently HTC has become the fourth biggest smart phone maker after Nokia, Research in Motion and Apple. Before Google approached HTC then it was a mere original equipment manufacturer but after utilizing its Android, it has become a mobile powerhouse. Initially, HTC never used to tag its launched phones with its brand name but at present almost all its phones have its brand name.
